General Rules
1. Absolutely no Racist comments or jokes. I don't mind of you do it via MSN but NO way on the site okay. I actually do mind full stop but I really don't want it on the site. Same goes for Pornography too as well.
2. Respect everyone on the site. It's here for you and everyone else not just YOU. So play nice and try and be friendly with it.
3. That brings me on to my next point. If you wanna argue then a special board will be made for arguing or you can do via PM's. The PM's are just for private arguments.
4. No bullying around people and pestering them to do something they don't want to do. People can be affected and they are here to have fun so again play nice with everyone.
5. No spamming on the site. It will make things untidy and it will be a waste of time.
6. No double posting, only except AFTER 24hours.
Dueling Rules
1. NO auto hits or immediate effecting things. Dueling is about letting your opponent try and counter your moves and let them try and beat you.
2. You can't double post or Edit posts without a good reason. If you are caught doing this you could lose the duel or your post will be void.
3. You can do handicap duels like 2-1 or 3-2 its up too you but nothing ridiculous like 100-1 or something like that.
What is RPing?
If you ever played a RPG game which stands for Role Playing Game you'll easily understand what RP forum is all about. For instance a famous RPG will have to be something like Final Fantasy 7 or even Kingdom Hearts. I mean most of you must have played it one way or another. Otherwise why would you be here LOL
Hmm some of the problems I saw arose within the community within the past few posts was that most people were wondering where to shop cool items for their special characters. Well, its quite simple. This is only a forum and we don't have a specific system that allows us to have money and how to go about banking it. Thus we don't have shops for the characters to shop around cool items and such. Rather, you can create a thread within your respective worlds and perhaps name it the Shop and RP it out there.
RPing is like writing a fanfic. A story if you will. Its just carried on by another person after you to make it interactive and fun for all people. We can have interaction between characters and even fights between other members on our forum. RPing is just another game in literacy and paragraphs than joysticks and PS2. This means you can't shop, but rather RP it out that you are shopping and you can do almost any other thing you could in the game just that you'll have to write it out than to click certain buttons to buy or talk with who and such.
There are certain things we might not let you have in shopping though and examples of this is having the ultimate weapon acquired while you shopped in a secret shopping spree. Anything silly will most likely buy you infame among the mods and admins and you'll soon become infamous. So be reasonable when you RP things out.
It is meant to be fun and if you see that you're not enjoying it because such and such problems you need to tell us about it. Admins and mods are meant to be the ones who look after the forum and it's inhabitant so speak out if you have something that troubles you.
Combat Rules
Taking up the power playing, time with counter examples for easier understanding.
Example:
"Player aims a powerful punch at Users face, sending him flying."
ANALYSE: OK as you can see, he is enforcing his hit. Including "sending him flying" is a typical example.
try use a sentence like:
"Player aims a powerful punch at Users face, ATTEMPTING to send him flying."
ANALYSE: here this is fine. You are just saying what your attempting to do. Not forcing it to hit.
In overall; Do never say you actually hit. It is the defending player that decides if it hits, where it hits (not out of habit though...) and how much damage it does (what type and such).
Saying things like "attempting, aims, trying" and such is very good.
When saying; "Attempts to send him flying...." "Aiming for the leg...." "Trying to trip...." and so on, your telling your opponent ooc what your planning, what type of attack and so. It also makes it easier for the opponent to determinate how easy/hard it is for him/her to dodge.
